As a part of musicians exchange between Pori and Istanbul, the Turkish youngster music group Plongeur Trio(*) is playing their music before the Pori Big Band as the front group in Kokemaki and Pori concerts.

Saper Şahbaz (p, keyb), Esat Ekincioğlu (b), Alp Doğan Türeci (d).
Formed in February, 2009, Plongeur Trio is a jazz ensemble with hip-hop influences. Also influenced by northern jazz, neo-soul, hardbop, R&B, swing and post-rock.
The members of the Plongeur have known each other for a long time and have worked together in many various occasions. Plongeur Quartet took stage at the 17th International Istanbul Jazz Festival on 3rd of July, as the winner of “Genç Caz / Young Jazz” competition.
